The Harrison Fire Department since it’s establishment in 1910 has provided fire protection for the community. Over the years the Harrison Fire Department has expanded it’s services to include emergency medical services, hazardous material response, and a wide array of technical rescue services for the City of Harrison, and surrounding Boone County.

The mission of the Harrison Fire Department is to preserve life, property, and the environment through decisive action, strong leadership, teamwork, and dedicated community service.
VISION STATEMENT
It is our vision to be known as an innovative and progressive fire department. We are dedicated to the delivery of effective fire suppression activities, emergency medical services, technical level rescue services, hazardous material response, and quality fire safety eduction to the public. We strive to offer the best available education and training to our members.
