Then purchase tickets for a Harrison150 Gayla on Saturday, June 6, at the Harrison County Club. A few local businesses will be honored for their contribution to the community during the 150 years. A representative from Claridge in Harrison has asked for our assistance in getting the word out - THEY ARE HIRING. They actually hire for positions in Harrison through a temp agency, HireWorks, based in San Antonio. It is Claridge's busy season now through October. They plan to hire about three temporary positions per week for six weeks. Later this year, they will move some employees to full-time.
