The students have been on several field trips and always seem to enjoy a day at Creekside. More than 200 different students were signed up for the program and they averaged about 115 students each day.

Concrete was poured on Thursday morning at the Equity Bank Sports Complex for the Splash Pad and the all-inclusive playground. The matching grant was awarded by the Office of Outdoor Recreation within the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism and the Kiwanis Club. NWAEDD helped with preparing the grant application. Thank you to all parties involved. The neighborhood, and families of visiting team members will love this updated playground. 37 yards of concrete was poured today for the Splash Pad. Very interesting project with the pumper truck and concrete truck squeezing into tight areas of the complex. But they did it, and the park will be enjoyed very soon!

Remember when the NWAEDD Grant for the Retail Strategies project and the Downtown Strategies Committee was formed to suggest improvements for our downtown? One of the suggestions was to change the hanging flashing lights for decorative stop signs, hoping for more visability for pedestrians. The City workers have started working on that project. Thank you!
