Jerry Farmer will be honored on Tuesday, March 18, at the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce's Annual Award Luncheon. Farmer recently retired from the City's Parks Department after 36 years of creating great places for children to participate in local sports.

The tornado sirens should still go off if there is danger, but this additional system delivers warnings by cell, text, email, or home phone so citizens can hear the alerts outside or inside a structure.
