Construction is going on at TJ Maxx,” Mayor Jerry Jackson announced. “We just received the plans for the 24,605 square foot building. We don’t have a confirmed opening date yet, but I would expect it to be early next year.”
He added that this will significantly expand Harrison’s regional market area. “Shoppers from Newton, Searcy, and even further counties will come to Harrison to shop. And while here, they’ll eat and visit many of our other stores, a big win for Harrison.”
Fire Chief Marc Lowrey said, “This is one of the cleanest large store remodels I have seen."
T.J. Maxx will be located at 813 Hwy. 65 in the North Hills 
Shopping Center.
