Parks and Recreation Executive Director Chuck Eddington, said they were pleased with the outcome of the Creekside Anniversary/Fall Festival celebration they hosted last week.
“We had 175 members and guests, and everyone loved it and said they had a great time. We were pleased to showcase our facility. And any time we get to give back to the community, we love to do so. We want the kids today to grow up using this facility and loving this community.”
Twelve booths were set up between the three courts, and the pool was open with a family-friendly movie playing. “Some of the sponsors set up booths and had a lot of fun for two hours,” he said. “We appreciate everyone who came to volunteer and participate. We got some good feedback.”
Creekside membership has exceeded every goal Eddington set for the team. He wants to grow the membership by 1000 by the end of 2026. The current membership is over 5,000.
