The Great Arkansas Treasure Hunt was very successful for this area. Outreach Manager, Auditor of State, Thomas Burchfield, said his team processed more than 50 claims and found $18,000 for local businesses, non-profits, and churches. In addition, they found more than $19,000 for individuals. 

Treasure HuntOne individual from the area received $12,000 that she didn’t know was her money. Most claims averaged around $40. A local church will receive a check for $600. Burchfield told the Mayor’s assistant, “This was the largest response we have received from any community. We are so glad we were able to help a lot of people. It was a big success!”
