The City Advertising Tourist Promotion Commission (CATPC) met Thursday morning for the monthly meeting. Explore Harrison Executive Director Matt Bell said hotel collections for April were up, but restaurants were slightly down.

Part of that could be due to the delinquency report, Bell said. “It seems like everyone currently on this list wants to get two or three months behind and then catch up.”

It was also noted that one business paid $500 in late payment fees in addition to the taxes they owed.

Bell said he is going to recommend that the Code Enforcement Division enforce the Business License Ordinance for Big Daddy’s. They are behind on reporting November and December of 2025 and all of 2026.
