Police SpeakerLeadership and Ethics Facilitator Colonel John Forquer

Chief of Police Chris Graddy takes every opportunity to allow the police force the advanced training they need to handle every call with professionalism, accuracy, and safety for the citizens and officers involved.

Retired FBI National Academy Instructor Marine Corps Colonel John Forquer is a personal friend of the City’s HR Director, Danny Presley, and agreed to speak to the police force.

Forquer served 31 years as an active-duty Marine, with a primary focus on Law Enforcement. Additionally, he served as a Strategic Planner at US Central Command and US Southern Command and as a Naval Aviation Observer flying the OV-10 Bronco aircraft conducting forward air control, reconnaissance, and counter-drug operations. He eventually rose to the rank of Commanding Officer at NCIS. After his retirement from the Marine Corps, he spent several years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation as an Instructor at the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

His successful military assignments and awards are numerous. Forquer’s dedication to speaking all over the world on leadership and ethics shows his heart for the officers on the street who desire to be the best at their job.

Graddy said, “We are very fortunate to have this opportunity to hear Colonel Forquer and share this advanced training with law enforcement officers in our area.”
