The Water/Sewer Construction Department hosted a Christmas Lunch and invited Mayor Jackson to say a few words. Under the direction of Supervisor Charlie Jones, the staff undertook the majority of the remodel and restoration work needed on the facility. Some old photos have been enlarged and decorate the walls.

A Crouse Construction Crew was taking advantage of the warmer temperatures last week to work on some new curbing at the Harrison Middle School. This part of the project is scheduled for completion very soon.

On Saturday, December 13, at 11 a.m., Rose Hill Cemetery will host the Wreaths Across America program, where veterans from each branch of the military will be recognized and honored, and wreaths will be placed on their graves.
Rose Hill Cemetery’s dedication to the National Register will immediately follow. Kyle Whiteside will be presented with his Eagle Scout Badge and Certificate of Appreciation for his work on the Rose Hill Cemetery archway.
