Graphics today, Monday, July 20, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until the
work is finished.
The same detour route will be used on Tuesday, July 21 and
Wednesday July 22 from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. both days.

The Boone County Imagination Library invited the Firefighters and their truck to the park last week to read to the children. Book fun happens every Thursday at the park during June and July. Only three more sessions. Don't miss out!

The City has an app that allows citizens to keep up with the news and happenings of the city without having to be on social media. The App came with our website designed by Apptegy, an Arkansas company!

City Hall's parking lot was full this morning. Did you know you can pay your water bill online? There are several ways to make that happen at harrisonar.gov or you can sign up to get a text and when you are ready to pay, just reply with an OK. It will take signing up for that service online. But is much easier than rushing to City Hall during your busy day!

The Council was pleased to have two active Scouts in attendance last night. Star Scout Logan Landrum led the Pledge, working on his Communication Merit Badge. Emmitt Kinker is a First Class Scout working on Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge. Both are with BSA troop 60. Thank you for all you do in the community!

Some of the Harrison Firefighters will be at the Downtown park tonight for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library event with guest readers, music, treats, and lots of fun for all ages. Come and see the fire truck and awesome firefighters at 6:30 p.m. Thank you Boone County Imagination Library for investing in the reading skills of our youth!

Here's a Goblin Drive update! Crouse Construction is doing a great job to have the project finished before school begins! Thanks being patient with the detour ... it's only a few more weeks!

Dolly is so excited about the Firefighters reading at the Park on Thursday night. She is hoping they won't notice she is hitching a ride! The Boone County Imigination Library park activity is Thursday night at 6:30. Treats, songs and fun is available for kids of all ages. Meet at the covered area close to the park restrooms, playground equipment and splash pad. The group will meet in the park every Thursday during July. Come and find out how your children or grandchildren can receive free books every month from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

The Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Digital Media Lunch and Learn session on Monday, July 13 at 11:30 at the JPH Center. Chamber Board members Rhett Bramley and Emily Powers met with Ann Lemley and Ian Reynolds at the "Around the Table" show to discuss why any business with a social media presence can learn new tips and tricks to bring in additional business or encourage communication.
