Mayor Jerry Jackson has announced there will be no Harrison City Council meeting Thursday, Oct. 22, due to a lack of business items for the agenda. The next City Council meeting will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in council chambers at City Hall, 118 Industrial Park Road.

Contour Airlines was the first of several aviation companies to seek to serve the Boone County Regional Airport. The Airport Board heard their presentation, and guests were invited to tour the jet's spacious interior. Additional companies will be making presentations in the near future.
