GOBLIN DRIVE DETOUR BEGINNING AS EARLY AS JULY 8, 2025 A section of Goblin Drive will be closed beginning as early as the morning of Tuesday, July 8. To facilitate roadway reconstruction through Baker Prairie, Goblin Drive will be closed through the prairie for an extended period. Traffic will be detoured to Speer Drive and Burls Way. Detour signage will be in place to inform drivers of the detour route. We recognize that this will be an inconvenience for drivers, but this closure is essential for minimizing impacts to Baker Prairie. We will continue to provide updates about planned closures and detours on this page.

With sadness, the Harrison Police Department announced that K9 Jerry has a tumor, which is causing internal bleeding, and the condition is inoperable. K9 Jerry served from 2015 to 2021. Jerry is a Sable German Shepherd from the Czech Republic. He was trained as a dual-purpose K9 (narcotics/apprehension). He was friendly but knew when it was time to work. K9 team Morgan and Jerry received several awards from the Harrison Police Department and an award from the FBI. His service to the community and his friendship will never be forgotten.

There is a lot of national softball action at the Equity Bank Sports Complex. 168 teams from 13 states are in the Ozarks for this tournament. Teams are playing on fields in Branson, Forsyth, Hollister, and Harrison.
