With the Creekside anniversary this month, we are focusing on the benefits that Creekside has made to individuals and families in our community. If you have a story to share - let us know! Meet Nate
Name: Nate
Nate had shoulder surgery about 18 months ago and ended up with “frozen shoulder.”
“I’m a mechanic by trade and have always done work with my arms over my head. Last summer, after severe heat exhaustion, a friend gifted me a membership to Creekside. So I’ve been swimming five days a week and I can tell my shoulders are getting better, too.”
Nate said the shoulder progress is slow, but he’s swimming 1,000 meters every day. “I’ve lost 50 pounds, too. So I feel much better and am all in on this recovery. I’m hitting it hard. I want to return to my chosen profession.”
"I think the pool is an amazing resource and far underused."
What a good friend Nate has! If you have a Creekside story, please email kfulton@harrisonar.gov and share your good news.
