Wednesday, April 16, retired officers were invited to the Harrison Police Department's gun range. Lunch was provided by Frontline Families and the fishing expertise of several police officers on their days off.

Congrats!!! This weekend, the Harrison Hogs 13u won their age division against Mountain Home Heat 12-0 at the Equity Bank Sports Complex.

Marsha Carter sent us these photos and a quote: "The Dive-in movie 'Nemo' at Creekside was awesome. It was nice seeing families all there together. We had a great time with our grandchildren, and my heart was happy seeing the other families enjoying the facilities, too." More USSSA Baseball Saturday-Sunday games

Harrison is host to the USSSA Baseball tournament this weekend. Games are underway at the Equity Bank Sports Complex from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Gate is only $5 per day. There are 41 confirmed teams for boys ages 9-14.

BeElite Basketball teams play Saturday and Sunday at the Creekside Gyms, Northark Pioneer Pavilion, Harrison High School gym, and the Brandon Burlsworth Youth Center. Here are a few shots from Creekside.

The Children's Expo continues until 2 p.m. in the Signature Bank Community Room. There will be lots of freebies for everyone and great activities for the kids—even a Bounce House, Firetrucks, police cars, and ambulances to see up close!
