Jerry Farmer will be honored on Tuesday, March 18, at the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce's Annual Award Luncheon. Farmer recently retired from the City's Parks Department after 36 years of creating great places for children to participate in local sports.

CodeRED is a new service the City of Harrison has purchased to provide residents with an additional warning of severe weather conditions in our area. The tornado sirens should still go off if there is danger, but this additional system delivers warnings by cell, text, email, or home phone so citizens can hear the alerts outside or inside a structure. The Equity Bank Sports Complex off of Industrial Road is getting some additional parking, designed for buses. This will free up parking inside the lot for more parents and fans. This is phase one of the project.
