The Alcohol Beverage Control Board met on Wednesday, Aug. 6, to approve previously incomplete license applications for local businesses selling alcohol. New forms were created for next year to make the process easier to complete and presented to the board for approval.

After reviewing several applications, the board approved:

Los Aztecas of Harrison
Zenbu Japanese Restaurant
Salsa’s Grill of Harrison
Elk’s Lodge of Harrison # 2311

The mayor’s assistant, Christeen Waters, told the board that about six applications for renewal weren’t complete. The Board members agreed to wait until she had all the necessary documentation before having the next board meeting.

New forms were approved for next year’s application process.
