Cottonwood Road is getting an update today. An asphalt overlay is being applied, and traffic is one lane during this process. Go slow and keep workers safe. The delay is very minimal.

The Main Street Bridge is still making progress. It won't be much longer before it opens!

LRS will continue their regular trash and recycling pick-up this week, even on Thanksgiving. So have your containers in place the night before so you aren't passed by if they run very early.

Chief Chris Graddy presented a Citizen Award to Kayla Warren for going above and beyond her civic duties.

“On October 4, 2025, at approximately 12:39 a.m., she assisted officers and family by calling in an accident and assisting the family (with three minors in car seats) out of a vehicle that was resting on a six-foot drop. She assisted officers investigating the accident by tending to the needs of the three minors. She and her husband took the three minors into her care, providing shelter, food, and care for over an hour until their grandparents could arrive.”
